37th SMYTE

Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics

The organising committee would like to invite you to the 37th Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics (SMYTE 37) which will take place in the New Castle in Nove Hrady, Czechia from 11th to 15th September 2019.

The meeting gathers scientists interested in transport and energetics mainly in yeast, but also in other fungi and model organisms. SMYTE 37 will cover many aspects of transmembrane transport, such as structure, function, regulation and genetics as well as its role in signaling, homeostasis and physiology.

SMYTE 37th will start with registration and accommodation on Wednesday (September 11th). In the evening the “Nico van Uden lecture” will be given, followed by a get together reception/buffet.

Thursday (12th) will consist of oral presentations and a poster session. On Friday (13th) scientific sessions will resume with oral presentations followed by excursion to Cesky Krumlov, a medieval city and World Cultural Heritage in the Vltava river valley, and the conference dinner. Saturday (14th) evening, after the scientific part and a general discussion, SMYTE will come to an (open) end with a farewell party.
